Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Rishikesh to Urgam Valley

Pickup Point: Tapovan, Rishikesh 

Pickup Time: 06 AM

Travelling Distance: 240 kms

Travelling Time: 8-9 Hours

Accommodation: YogMatra Eco Homestay

We will will reach Urgam Valley by 04 PM. Together we end the day with a lovely bonfire, music, group introduction, evening tea and dinner. 

Day 2: Forest Hike to Banga Pani Stream

After an energizing breakfast we start the day by exploring nearby jungle. We trek through meadows and the dense flora and fauna until we reach Banga Pani, where we take some rest at the beautiful and refreshing water stream. Upon our return to the Homestay, pahadi lunch and tea are served. Card games, music, organic dinner, snacks and warming drinks fill the nights at the Homestay.

Day 3: Trek to Kalpeshwar Mahadev Temple 

After enjoying an ayurvedic Tea and breakfast we will start our hike to Kalpeshwar Mahadev Temple, one amongst the Panch Kedar Temples. On the way we will pass through the valley villages and enjoy stunning views of the Himalayan peaks and the valley. Reached at the temple, we will take blessings of Lord Kalpeshwar Mahadev. Upon our return to the EcoStay organic Lunch, Evening Tea and Dinner will be provided.

Day 4: Drive back to Rishikesh

Checkout Time: 08 AM

After breakfast, we start our journey towards Rishikesh and reach Rishikesh by 07 PM and end the trip with beautiful smile on our face.

Checklist for the Trip:

- Trekking Pants or Trousers (No Jeans while Trekking)

- Trekking Shoes or good sports shoes

- Winter Jacket, thermals, winter gloves, socks and other winter essentials. 

- Bagpack is advisable not trolley bags because you have to carry your own luggage for 1 km till the property.

- One small bagpack for day hikes

- Hat/Cap for Sun protection

- Bottle to refill for filtered water

- Medicines if you're on any medication

- Valid Identity Proof like Aadhar Card

  • Meals during travel from Rishikesh to Urgam and back
  • Heater in the room
  • Any personal expenses
  • Any food ordered apart from what mentioned in the day wise itinerary

You'll feel the Himalayan cold with temperature dipping to zero degrees. But don't worry there will be Bonfire to keep you warm and don't forget to bring winter clothes. Days are sunny and brighter.

You need to carry winter essentials like thermals, jacket, shoes, gloves, cap, sunscreen etc

No, suitcases and trolleys are strictly not allowed as we need to trek for 1.2 kms to reach the property. Only bagpacks are allowed which you have to carry by yourself.

Yes absolutely. The treks in this trip are not very difficult.

No we only serve Organic vegetarian meals. Sometimes we do provide eggs depending upon the availability.

Yes you can. You can check daily prices with the ecostay. The ecostay has wfh facility as well.
